Finally all done this big painting! On to the next one! Artist Project Toronto here I come! Hopefully with enough paintings, eeep.

Top hats and underpaints

Might be risky to make big paintings character-based vs traditional landscape, but i did anyway. Here's the underpaint stage:

Kick ass robot

Thought the large landscape painting I just finished was going to be the center piece of my next show at The Toronto Artist Project, but now it looks like it's going to be a robot! Not as big but so much more interesting.





Now what to do with this next large oh-so-blank panel? It only has to make people laugh, and make them cry, so no pressure or anything.

Sometimes tweaking is good

Amazing how sometimes you can paint an area in and partway through you think that it looks like ass and you're totally losing it, and then you tweak a couple of colours and then blammo! it's awesome. That's what happened here:
